Alan ArmstrongAlan Armstrong is president and CEO of Williams, one of the nation's largest energy-infrastructure companies. The $24 billion, publicly traded (NYSE:WMB) company develops and operates pipelines and processing plants that connect new and existing hydrocarbon-supply areas in North America with growing markets for natural gas, natural gas liquids and globally cost-advantaged petrochemical feedstock. In the next three years alone, the Tulsa, Okla.-based company expects to invest about $12 billion to meet North America’s growing energy-infrastructure needs. Armstrong also serves as chairman of the board and CEO for Williams Partners L.P. and as a member of the Access Midstream Partners board.
